Free text ad sites are another nice source of website/blog targeted traffic. There are as many of these sites as there are the others and they are the equal to traffic exchanges. These sites will send you an email when your text ad is circulated off their website so you can replace or update it. The preference is strictly up to you. Most sites will set a ceiling to the ads permitted at one time and a smaller number of ads being circulated will give more exposure to your text ad.

As a time factor, these sites are a excellent resource because you write it, submit it, and walk away. But the thing as with all these forms of site promotion you still have to keep them updated and that means work which means precious time spent.

Article writing could be the best way to apply your labors. You write an article, submit the article, and collect the benefits for a long time. What I mean is, you are building backlinks to your website and as long as you are doing this on a steady basis, the search engines will notice you and keep an eye on you. As long as you present quality and quantity articles to pertinent sites that is.
